IS THERE ANYONE OUT THERE WHO HAS NOT WONDERED WHAT GOES ON BEHIND THE SCENES AT THE EIFFEL TOWER? Everyone thinks that they know the Eiffel Tower, the illustrious monument which has helped to make Paris so famous. But don't be fooled; she has plenty of hidden secrets that are little-known amongst the general public, and offers magnificent views that were previously only seen by the chosen few. Built for the Universal Exhibition or 1889, Gustave Eiffel's visionary work is the iconic symbol of the French capital. This tour gives you exclusive access to the areas that are usually off-limits to visitors. Your tour guide will tell you the history of the monument that the French affectionately call the "Iron Lady", and share lots of interesting stories with you... Did you know that there is a secret bunker hidden under the Champ de Mars? You will have the chance to go there! You will also have the honor of slipping into the "backstage area"* – the impressive machinery room which controls the lifts. You'll then head to the second floor where you'll be shown to a priviliged spot on the roof of the Jules Verne restaurant to enjoy a little-known 360° panoramic view of Paris.
